About the Position

Medix has partnered with a premier healthcare facility to find a dedicated Mammo Tech for a high-impact travel assignment in Austin. As a trusted healthcare clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography while delivering compassionate patient care. In this role, you will perform mammography procedures, manage quality assurance controls per ACR guidelines, and practice ALARA radiation safety standards in a vibrant healthcare market. Schedule Details Work Week: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends, no evenings) Shift Hours: 8 hours per shift (40 hours per week). Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic and screening mammographic procedures per department manual. • Maintain quality assurance records and controls required by ACR and state licensing bodies. • Apply radiation safety principles (ALARA) and ensure proper anatomical orientation labeling.

Requirements

• Completion of radiology program at an accredited school
• Current ARRT registration
• Active Texas State Licensure (TMB)
• Active BCLS certification
• 2 years of screening/diagnostic mammography experience (Preferred)
