Radiology - Nuclear Med Tech Profession: Nuclear Medicine Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 4x10 Hour Days, Monday-Thursday Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: No specific license required for submission Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT or NMTCB Must-Have: Experience in a high-paced Nuclear Medicine Department Description:The role involves performing a variety of nuclear medicine imaging and studies.Common imaging studies include Cardiac, HIDA, Gastric Empty, Parathyroid, Thyroid, and Thyroid Therapy.Technologists will be expected to start IVs as part of their duties.The department utilizes GE and Siemens equipment.The average number of scans or studies performed daily is 6 to 10.The electronic medical record (EMR) system used is EPIC.Radiologists are in-house for consultations and support.There are weekend and holiday call requirements.Scrub colors are solid, with no prints or graphics allowed.Department-specific orientation is provided to ensure familiarity with protocols and equipment.The cancellation policy allows for shifts to be canceled up to a specified number during the assignment.No floating to other areas is required as part of this position. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet Health
