SMH Allied Level 2 CT TechCity/State: Rochester, New YorkShift: Monday - Friday; 3pm - 11:30pm EST, on call/callback, holidays and occasional weekendsContract Length: 16 weeksStart Date: 09/14/2026Job Description:Perform duties as a CT Technologist including confirming patient identity, coordinating with physicians for diagnostic imaging, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring proper documentation and patient safety. This role requires maintaining a clean and safe environment.Responsibilities:Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safetyCoordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imagingPrepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortableInsert IVs when necessary for the testPosition patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobilityMaintain accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPICAssure images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completionMaintain a clean and safe scanning facilityRequirements:HCPs currently registered in NYS will be required to have injection therapy certification stated on their license at time of submissionCompletion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position)Two (2) Years' ExperienceLevel 1 Trauma Center ExperienceBLS (American Heart Association ONLY)Telemetry
