Recruiter

Recruiter System one is partnering with a client seeking an experienced Recruiter for an immediate, confidential contract-to-hire opportunity . This position will primarily focus on full-cycle recruiting , including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and candidate management across multiple departments and business units. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to hit the ground running with recruiting responsibilities , and have a proactive approach to identifying and engaging qualified candidates. In addition to recruiting, this individual will support general HR administration, HRIS maintenance, onboarding, employee records, reporting, and serve as a backup for payroll processing. Key Responsibilities: Lead recruiting efforts across multiple departments, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates throughout the hiring process Ability to quickly step into an active recruiting environment and hit the ground running Maintain employee records and HR data within the HRIS Support onboarding and new employee orientations Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, turnover data, and other management reporting Maintain personnel documentation and ensure compliance with employment regulations Assist employees and managers with HR-related questions and documentation Support HR projects and employee communications Provide backup support for payroll processing as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of HR or recruiting experience Recruiting experience is required; candidates must be comfortable with sourcing and actively driving the hiring process Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now is a plus Payroll experience preferred but not required Union environment experience is a plus Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills Highly organized with strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally Important: Candidates must be genuinely interested in a contract-to-hire opportunity and available to make an immediate impact.
