Work Environment

This position is based entirely onsite in a home care environment, allowing you to engage with patients in their daily surroundings. Working from the Tampa area, you'll have the flexibility to choose your hours during the week, from Monday to Friday, tailoring your schedule to meet your personal and professional needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical needs of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions in their homes.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans using diverse therapeutic methods such as exercise therapy, manual therapy techniques, and the use of modalities.
• Effectively track and document treatment regimens, patient progress, and healthcare outcomes to ensure optimal recovery strategies are in place.
• Regularly reevaluate treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary to cater to evolving patient needs and recovery trajectories.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on rehabilitation techniques and the proper use of assistive devices to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and seminars to remain current with industry trends and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse patient population, treating individuals ranging from children to the elderly with various diagnoses. Many of your patients may have unique requirements due to physical limitations or chronic conditions, requiring you to adapt your approach to ensure the most effective care. Qualifications

• DPT (Doctorate in Physical Therapy) from an accredited program, with a state license to practice physical therapy.
• Practice knowledge of physical therapy principles and treatments, with a strong commitment to patient welfare.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and their families.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, although recent graduates with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field will be considered.
• Experience in home health care settings is a significant advantage, as it enhances your understanding of the unique challenges and rewards of providing therapy outside of a traditional clinic.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
