Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Altius Talent | Freight Forwarding Recruitment USA's Number 1 Freight Forwarding Headhunter Regional HSQE Manager Location : Houston, TX Salary : 130,000 to 150,000 USD plus bonus and full benefits Role Overview We are hiring a Regional HSQE Manager to ensure operational safety, regulatory compliance, and quality control across project logistics activities in North America and selected international markets. This is a critical role within a disciplined, performance-driven organisation. You will report to the Global Head of HSQE and work in close coordination with project operations, engineering, and commercial teams. The position requires travel, structure, and consistent execution. The successful candidate is expected to set high standards, act decisively, and align HSQE policy with both business goals and international regulations. Responsibilities Implement HSQE systems in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Provide direct oversight on incident investigations and corrective action plans Lead HSQE integration into tenders and pre-contract technical reviews Assess subcontractors and enforce compliance with client-specific and legal requirements Deliver internal training and promote practical safety awareness on site and in office Contribute to global HSQE reporting with regional KPI data Support project planning with risk assessments, lifting methodology, and transport engineering alignment Conduct regular audits and visits across sites under responsibility Improve HSQE culture across departments through leadership and communication Requirements NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent Certified ISO 45001 and 14001 auditor Minimum 7 years of experience in HSQE, with at least 3 years in a management role Experience in project logistics, transport safety, and subcontractor management Strong English communication skills, written and verbal Ability to travel internationally up to 40 percent of the time Preferred NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent Kelvin TOPSET or similar investigation training Experience with OOG cargo, lifting supervision, or rigging standards Familiarity with tender processes and customer HSQE audits Why This Role This is a clear opportunity to step into a structured, global environment where results matter.
