Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable has an exciting opportunity to provide accounting support for a busy and growing law firm. The Accounts Payable Specialist will develop strong working relationships with our business partners in order to provide five-star customer service. This position will be based in the Lancaster PA office.

Responsibilities: 

· Input vendor invoices & credit card transactions into the accounting and billing systems. 

· Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

· Distribute checks as required.

· Act as liaison between various office locations and Accounts Payable.

· Answer vendor inquiries. 

· Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.

· Assist the billing and financial team as necessary. 

· Assemble and process overnight mailings to vendors. 

· Assist in monthly closings. 

· Prepare analysis of accounts, as required.

· Perform filing and copying. 

· Other accounting duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

· 2+ years Accounts Payable experience desired 

· 1 to 3 years related experience in a law firm preferred 

· Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel, Adobe; Advance Excel experience is a plus 

· Strong written, analytical, verbal and interpersonal communication skills 

· Ability to professionally interact with various levels of personnel 

· Familiarity with QuickBooks, Clio, or other related Accounts Payable Software programs 

· Must have the ability to adapt to peak monthly workloads, new assignments and meet required deadlines 

· High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree a plus.

· Ability to comprehend and enforce department policies and procedures

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite
