About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 12 months permanent experience in specialty required. License: Permanent license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: Must be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start. One recent reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty required for qualification. Active required certifications must be in hand at time of submission. Description: All start date, RTO, scheduling information, and shift details need to be accurate and confirmed at the time of submission. This information cannot be changed after an offer is presented. All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable, and no exceptions will be made. Auto offer available for shifts of 4x12s, 3x12s, or 2x12s. Day shift is 3 - 12 hour shifts, 7 am - 7:30 pm. Must have permanent license in hand at the time of submission. Recent references must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, and an acceptable score on both assessments is required. Candidates with any backgrounds or license hits will be reviewed and may not be accepted. Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free requirements temporarily. Candidates may extend with the client for a period of 18 months; after which a 6-month break is required. Requirements for annual hand-on competency must be completed if the candidate remains on a continuous contract. Modules are required both pre-start and annually, with associated hours varying by specialty.
