Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Capital Strategy Analysts .

This is not a traditional employment role . Capital Strategy Analysts operate as independent contractors , activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.

Once approved, Capital Strategy Analysts:

• Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

• Gain access to active capital raises, transactions, and strategic advisory work

• Support investors, fund managers, and operators on capital formation and transaction strategy

• Build a verified track record and Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers:
Senior Analyst · Lead Analyst · Capital Strategy Analyst

Analyst Levels & Pay RangesSenior Capital Strategy Analyst

• Rating Score: 90–100

• Pay: $150–200/hour

• Typical Background: Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, capital markets, or senior advisory professionals with 5+ years of experience in fundraising, structuring, or transaction strategy

Lead Capital Strategy Analyst

• Rating Score: 80–89

• Pay: $100–150/hour

• Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in capital structuring, deal advisory, or transaction support

Capital Strategy Analyst

• Rating Score: 60–79

• Pay: $50–100/hour

• Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong financial analysis skills and exposure to capital markets or transaction strategy

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on certification approvals, Capital Strategy Analysts may support live transactions and capital initiatives through:

Capital Structuring & Strategy

• Capital stack analysis (equity, preferred, mezzanine, debt)

• Evaluation of financing alternatives and cost of capital

• Dilution, return, and waterfall modeling

• Scenario analysis for capital raises and recapitalizations

• Structuring support for acquisitions, growth capital, and exits

Fundraising & Investor Support

• Investor materials analysis (pitch decks, teasers, CIMs)

• Fundraising strategy support and capital positioning

• Target investor profiling and capital alignment analysis

• Return sensitivity and downside protection modeling

Financial Modeling & Transaction Analysis

• 3-statement financial models

• DCF, LBO, and return-based valuation modeling

• Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis

• Risk assessment and transaction structuring considerations

Strategic & Investment Support

• Investment memo and IC presentation support

• Commercial and operational diligence support

• Risk identification and mitigation analysis

Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.

How Capital Strategy Analysts Start Earning

1. Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

2. Receive category-specific approvals (Capital Strategy, Modeling, Valuation, Diligence)

3. Become verified on the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin earning income immediately through hourly engagements and live capital projects

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified Capital Strategy Analysts are actively promoted to investors, fund managers, and deal sponsors.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

• Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

• Completion of Initio Sphere Financial Training

• Active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Capital Strategy Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score , which determines:

• Visibility across the platform

• Approved work categories

• Recommended hourly compensation

Compensation & Deal Economics

• Capital Strategy Analysts are independent contractors, not employees

• Hourly rates vary by Rating Score and approval level

• Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction or capital raise fees

• Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

• Payments issued only after successful transaction completion and fee collection

• Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
