Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on established therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support clients in addressing challenges such as trauma recovery, anxiety, grief, depression, and relationship conflicts.

• Provide ongoing therapy sessions that may include individual, couples, and family counseling, tailored to the unique dynamics of each client.

• Foster an environment of trust and cooperation, actively engaging clients in their therapeutic processes to encourage progress and self-discovery.

• Deliver immediate support and crisis intervention for clients facing urgent mental health concerns, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Our practice focuses on a range of issues, including relational dynamics, mental health disorders, and life transitions. By utilizing a trauma-informed and culturally competent approach, our LMFT will empower clients to navigate their unique challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Must possess a valid LMFT license to practice in Washington State.

• Two or more years of relevant clinical experience in a therapeutic setting is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with specialized training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., EMDR, CBT, or DBT) or experience working with particular populations, such as adolescents or couples, will be favorably considered. Additionally, experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms will enhance the candidate's efficiency in this remote environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

At River Counseling Center, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
