Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients suffering from mood disorders to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' needs, preferences, and overall goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client’s unique situation.

• Provide psychoeducation to both clients and families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress consistently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic strategies and outcomes.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Valor Therapy Center, you will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, our client base may consist of vulnerable populations, such as individuals affected by homelessness, refugees, or survivors of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
