Details Advanced Endoscopy unit within a hospital setting Days shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Set day off scheduled weekly Call required 2-3 days per month Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA Minimum of 1 year RN experience required 1 year of endoscopy experience required, advanced/interventional endoscopy experience preferred Associate's Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Additional Information Provides direct nursing care to a variety of patients ranging from simple to complex health needs Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments Monitors physiological data and intervenes as necessary Administers medications and manages IV infusions and blood products Communicates care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines; onboarding must begin immediately upon offer Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks prior to start date Extensions limited to one time for a total of 26 weeks; a 6-month separation is required before reapplying American Traveler Job ID P-749983.
