Diesel Mechanic

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, experience working with diesel engines, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical issues. Pay: Depending on Experience Job Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks Repair or replace engine components, fuel systems, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify needed repairs or maintenance Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Requirements Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or diesel technician preferred Strong knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair tools Ability to lift heavy parts and work in physically demanding conditions Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications Experience with heavy equipment, trucks, or fleet vehicles Technical or trade school certification in diesel mechanics
