Your Role Secure entrance/exit points, operate metal detectors, and provide security at government meetings. Patrol exterior property and collaborate with local police. Respond swiftly to incidents and emergencies, ensuring safety of people and property. Deliver professional customer service in a high-visibility role. Write detailed incident reports using our reporting systems. This role requires reliability, strong situational awareness, and integrity to uphold APS’s standards in a critical environment. WhatWe'r Looking For At least 18 years old. Valid Utah armed security guard license. Valid Utah driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass background check (no felonies or disqualifying crimes; in-house fingerprinting provided for clear records). Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and composure under pressure. Must be proficient in English (written and verbal).
