About The Team The DoorDash Enterprise Retail team manages the strategic vision, acquisition, and development of the largest retail partnerships in North America. This team sits within the New Verticals Business Development organization. We support our merchants' broader e-commerce strategy, helping them find new ways to acquire, engage with and retain customers. We also love to help our partners solve their operational issues at the lowest level of detail; no job is too big or too small. About The Role The Retail Partnerships Manager will lead DoorDash's effort to grow and deepen strategic partnerships across a handful of our largest categories. This is a player‑coach role: you will lead and develop a team of Enterprise Partner Managers (EPMs) while directly owning our newest category and the accounts within that category. You will report to a Sr. Manager, Retail Partnerships. We expect this role to be flexible in terms of time spent remote, in‑office, and traveling to visit merchant partners. You're Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will… Lead a handful of DoorDash's fastest‑growing retail verticals Be the player‑coach who shapes the next generation of EPM talent at DoorDash Develop long‑term business plans alongside our partners for their multi‑channel customer strategies Drive high‑stakes contract renegotiations at the VP/GM level with some of retail's biggest names Work at the cutting edge of AI‑powered partnership management, setting the bar for how the team works Build product testing and roll‑outs on the ground with retail and cross‑functional team members Own meaningful outcomes—your deals and your team's wins will directly move DoorDash's New Verticals P&L Work with partners across DoorDash to align company‑wide resources and help build out our partners' digital businesses We're Excited About You Because… You're a People Leader — You've managed direct reports and have a track record of developing junior talent into top performers You're a Dealmaker — You've led complex, multi‑variable renegotiations with large enterprise partners and are comfortable operating at the VP/GM level You're Analytical — You structure problems with data, build models, and drive decisions with quantitative rigor You're an Early Adopter — You actively use AI and LLM‑powered tools to accelerate research, analysis, decks, and partner communications You're Influential — You align and influence S&O, Finance, Product, and Marketing partners without direct authority You're Strategic — You find the win‑win and develop novel agreement structures to grow business with partners You're an Owner — You step up to drive projects forward with minimal supervision and own outcomes end‑to‑end Qualifications 6+ years of account management, business development, strategic partnerships, consulting, or banking experience in technology or high‑growth environments 2+ years of people management experience with direct reports Bachelor's degree required Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi‑variable contract renegotiations with enterprise partners Experience working with executive‑level partners (VP/GM/C‑Suite) Proficiency in SQL and Excel/Sheets modeling; able to build and present business cases from raw data Active user of AI/LLM tools for analysis, research, and stakeholder communications Retail, ecommerce, or marketplace industry background preferred Compensation Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location. In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants and sales commission. See Below For Paid Time Off Details For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year. For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week). The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.

$144,160—$212,000 USD.

The total on‑target earnings (base + commissions) for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.

$180,200—$265,000 USD.
