Job Description
Title: Emergency Department Nurse (RN) - Emergency Nursing

Schedule: 7am-7pm OR 7pm-7am

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 143 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: TBD

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state Board of Nursing.
- ACLS Certification.
- At least 2 years of ER experience (New Grads not accepted at this time).
- Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia experience.
- PALS Certification (highly preferred).
- CEN and TNCC Certification (highly preferred).

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress. Report any changes or concerns promptly to the appropriate team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote overall wellness.
- Offer emotional support and advocate for patients' rights, ensuring they receive compassionate and respectful care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Submission requirements specify that candidates must be in the process of moving to the applicable state.
