Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to work from your home in Hawaiian Gardens, California, or any other location within the state. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals committed to nurturing mental health through cooperation and shared expertise. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which allows for a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.

• Provide ongoing psychotherapy sessions for individuals, with the potential to address couples and families, depending on your supervision.
\n
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed approaches to create effective treatment strategies.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in client records.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster a collaborative approach to client care.

• Coordinate care with external agencies such as medical providers, educational institutions, and social services to optimize the support network for our clients.

• Adhere to the confidentiality and ethical standards established by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), ensuring professional conduct in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a clientele that includes individuals facing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma responses, and difficulties related to interpersonal and family relationships. The role emphasizes cultural competence, allowing you to engage effectively with diverse populations, including youth, families, and underserved communities.

Qualifications\n

• Active LPCC license in the State of California, in good standing, to provide clinical services independently.

• A Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• A strong foundation in clinical assessment techniques, treatment planning, and a broad spectrum of therapeutic interventions.

• Proven ability to work autonomously while demonstrating effective collaboration with clinical staff and external partners.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, essential for building rapport and effectively conveying therapeutic concepts to clients.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually , along with a comprehensive benefits package.
