Position: Picker & Packer

Location: New Jersey

Shift: 2nd Shift (4:30 PM Start, End Time Varies Based on Workload)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Fridays Mandatory)

Environment: Cold Produce Distribution Warehouse (33&degree;F - 55&degree;F)

Seeking reliable and hardworking Picker & Packers to join a growing produce distribution warehouse. Responsibilities include selecting orders, building pallets, quality checking produce, and operating electric pallet jacks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Pick and select orders accurately using paper pick tickets.
• Build and stack pallets according to order requirements.
• Inspect produce for quality and accuracy.
• Operate an electric pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and inventory activities.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness through sanitation and housekeeping tasks.
• Follow all safety and company procedures.

• Minimum 2 years of electric pallet jack experience .
• Experience in order picking, packing, and order selecting .
• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs consistently and up to 70 lbs occasionally .
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods.

• Food distribution or produce warehouse experience.
• Experience using RF scanners .
• Forklift operating experience.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Inventory management knowledge.
• Palletizing and warehouse logistics experience.

• Cold warehouse temperatures ranging from 33&degree;F to 55&degree;F .

• Weekend work may be required based on business needs, though weekends are typically off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
