Overview: Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Telemetry, working full-time day shifts. This role involves planning and delivering professional nursing care aligned with established policies, with opportunities to assume charge nurse responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to identify care needs and organize appropriate interventions.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate and relevant patient care records.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Monitor quality of care using outcome-oriented indicators.
• Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Adjust care based on age-specific physiological and psychosocial needs.
• Support patients' cultural and spiritual beliefs within medical guidelines.

Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent required. Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the relevant regional licensure is necessary.

Experience: No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome.

Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Effective organizational and leadership capabilities. Knowledge of age-specific developmental, physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual patient needs.

Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively, observe patients closely, and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. May involve exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.

Certifications: BLS certification from the American Heart Association and active RN licensure.
