Litigation Paralegal

We’re a plaintiff’s personal injury trial firm. Every file we open is built for a jury, not a settlement conference. We handle high-stakes injury and wrongful death cases, and we staff them accordingly. We hire A-players: people who own their work, catch what others miss, and get it right the first time. The Role You’ll support our attorneys from intake through verdict. If you like being in the weeds, and you can carry twenty deadlines while still spotting the one inconsistency buried in a 400-page record, you’ll do well here. Responsibilities Draft and file pleadings, discovery, and motions through PeachCourt, Odyssey, and PACER/ECF Answer written discovery; organize responses, exhibits, and witness files Submit open records requests and manage litigation correspondence Draft waivers of service; coordinate service with sheriffs and process servers Docket court deadlines and enforce compliance with scheduling orders Coordinate with experts and medical providers; schedule medical depositions Draft medical narratives, organize records, and assemble demand packages Support motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation Keep clients informed throughout the life of the case Requirements 2+years as a plaintiff’s personal injury paralegal or as an insurance defense paralegal.** This is a hard requirement. General litigation experience without PI or defense-side exposure will not qualify. Ability to step in on day one on discovery responses, trial prep, exhibit organization, motion practice, and deposition support Paralegal certificate or associate’s degree in legal studies, business, or a related field Working proficiency in PeachCourt, Odyssey, and PACER/ECF Advanced Microsoft Word: styles, tables of authorities, cross-references, clean formatting Strong written communication and case organization Ability to carry a full docket without being managed through it Experienced in working within apple iOS, Adobe Pro, Dropbox/Cloud Storage Spanish preferred The Ideal Candidate Methodical and accurate; anticipates the next filing before being asked Triages well and stays calm when three deadlines land in the same week Raises questions early and suggests better ways to run a process Resourceful and results-driven Understands that details win trials $65,000 – $100,000, depending on experience Medical, dental, and vision (50% employer contribution) 401(k) with match Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 remote, rotating A long-term seat at a firm that actually tries cases #J-18808-Ljbffr Flanagan Law, P.C.
