CGP: Accountant

AccountantCentury Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accountant to join their team. Expected starting pay rate of $43.00 to $50.00 per hour.Job Responsibilities:Maintain accurate accounting records, schedules, and ledgers to support financial operations.Coordinate monthly close activities in partnership with external accounting providers.Manage accounts receivable and payable, including support for quarterly billing cycles.Prepare financial schedules and reports for review by senior leadership.Document accounting procedures and assist with internal and external audit processes.Requirements:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.2–3+ years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.Familiarity with general ledger systems and corporate payment platforms.Experience with budgeting, accruals, and financial forecasting.Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage Intacct and tools like Excel and Bill.com.Qualifications:Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting and reconciliation.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.Knowledge of the wealth management industry is preferred but not required.CPA certification or active candidacy is strongly preferred.
