Events Intern Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) Location: Remote (Wisconsin-based) Employment Type: Internship, Non-Exempt (December 2026 – May 2027) Reports To: Events Director

Role Overview & Key Responsibilities The Events Intern supports the planning, coordination, and execution of meetings and events that showcase Wisconsin’s economic development initiatives and engage stakeholders across the state and beyond. Working closely with the Events team and Marketing & Brand Strategy staff, this role provides hands‑on experience in event management, attendee engagement, registration systems, and event marketing. In this role, you will:

Support planning and execution of conferences, meetings, trade shows, exhibits, and other WEDC events

Assist with event registration, attendee communications, reporting, and customer service activities

Coordinate event logistics, materials, and on‑site event support

Manage event and exhibit assets, including signage, promotional materials, and inventory

Support sponsorship administration and fulfillment activities

Collaborate with internal teams to promote events and enhance attendee engagement

Qualifications WEDC is committed to supporting the development and growth of emerging professionals.
