As a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing nursing services to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Your expertise will be vital in managing patient care plans, administering medications, and providing essential education to patients and their families.

• Deliver general nursing care utilizing the nursing process
• Assess patient needs and initiate nursing care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Apply infection control policies and procedures
• Organize and prioritize patient care effectively
• Communicate significant information to physicians and health team members
• Initiate patient teaching and evaluate instructional activities
• Assist with orientation and ongoing learning of new staff members
• Maintain professional and clinical competence through continuing education
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by following safety and infection control policies
• Current registration as a licensed nurse in the State of South Dakota
• Current CPR Certification
• Able to obtain ACLS and PALS Certification within six months of hire
• TNCC for solo Emergency Room coverage within 6 months of hire
• Need 1 year experience in setting
