Finance Associate Attorney (Mid-Level)Direct Counsel is seeking a mid-level finance associate attorney to join a national law firm in New York.OverviewDirect Counsel is recruiting a mid-level finance associate attorney to join a rapidly growing Structured Finance practice. The role focuses on representing investment banks and/or asset managers in structuring and documenting collateralized loan obligation (CLO) transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesStructure and document CLO transactions for financial institutions and asset managers.Draft, review, and negotiate complex finance agreements.Advise clients on transactional and regulatory considerations.Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and internal teams to manage deal execution.QualificationsMid-level experience in structured finance, preferably representing banks or asset managers.JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in New York.Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently in a collaborative environment.CompensationThe anticipated salary range for this role is $235,000 – $365,000, depending on experience.BenefitsComprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), paid family leave, paid time off, flexible spending and health savings accounts, mental health support, transportation benefits, childcare support, tuition assistance, and optional supplemental insurance programs.
