Procurement Purchasing Manager (Korean Bilingual Required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a global battery company that is currently looking for\na Procurement Purchasing Manager\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. Material Procurement\n- Identify, source, and purchase raw materials, components, and equipment\nrequired for ESS Pack production.\n- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms, prices, and lead times.\n- Ensure that all materials meet quality standards and specifications.\n2. Inventory Management\n- Maintain accurate inventory levels and track material usage.\n- Manage stock rotation and ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently.\n- Monitor inventory turnover and minimize excess stock to reduce storage costs.\n3. Supply Chain Coordination\n- Collaborate with production, logistics, and suppliers to ensure timely\ndelivery of materials.\n- Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply chain issues to avoid\nproduction delays.\n- Plan and coordinate material requirements in accordance with production\nschedules.\n4. Order Management & Documentation- Prepare purchase orders, track order\nstatus, and ensure timely deliveries.\n- Maintain accurate records of materials purchased, costs, and delivery\nschedules.\n- Support the creation of reports on material costs, stock levels, and supplier\nperformance.\n5. Cost Control & Supplier Relationship Management\n- Monitor and manage the budget for material procurement to ensure\ncost-effectiveness.\n- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continued\nquality and service.\n???????- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with\nquality standards and contract terms.\n\n\nQualifications:\n- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business\nAdministration, Engineering, or related field.\n- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in purchasing, materials management, or\nsupply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing or electronics, strong\ncustoms experience. \n- Technical Skills:\n• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).\n• Knowledge of procurement processes, material planning, and inventory control.\n• Familiarity with quality standards and supply chain management best practices.\n- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n- Languages: English proficiency (written and verbal) is preferred.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n- Experience in a battery, automotive, or electronics manufacturing environment.\n- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and just-in-time inventory. -\nCertification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, ISM) is a plus. - Ability\nto work in a bilingual environment (Korean/English).\n
