About the Role

As an Account Coordinator on our Freight Brokerage team, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining carrier relationships to keep our customers' shipments moving. This is a great entry-level opportunity to grow in a fast-paced logistics environment.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments with shipping and receiving departments; relay information to dispatchers and drivers
• Build relationships with existing carriers and prospect new carriers to support customer shipments
• Negotiate rates with carriers
• Track and trace shipments throughout all stages of transit
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment when deciding which carriers to pursue and work with
• Meet predetermined performance metrics as outlined by your manager
• Support your team with all other duties as assigned - because here, we get the job done together
