Challenging Projects

As a Business Intelligence Analyst with JCTM, you will directly support Data Analysis, Business Intelligence Analysis, and Data Visualization task area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-demand business-intelligence analysis, data analysis, and data-visualization support.
• Support procedures for managing IOD data-analysis and business-intelligence initiatives.
• Identify, document, and socialize use cases addressing operational problems.
• Identify and leverage available data feeds supporting timely data-driven decision-making.
• Apply CISA data standards and the enterprise conceptual data model in applicable analysis and management initiatives.
• Support recommendations concerning data access, collection activities, and standards.
• Support mission-data analysis and division-level performance metrics.
• Develop or support dashboards and reporting.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insight for diverse audiences.
• Support data-management projects through requirements definition, task planning, recommended schedules, progress tracking, and schedule/risk/performance reporting.

State-of-the-Art Technology

Work with Microsoft 365 capabilities including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint, along with data-visualization software such as Tableau, GIS software such as ESRI, and commercially available AI applications where applicable.

New Skills

Collaborate with information-management, operational, UI/UX, data-governance, and business-analysis specialists across IOD and CISA.

You Have

• Demonstrated expertise in advanced data analysis, business-intelligence tools, and data visualization.
• Expert-level technical communication skills to translate, present, and document complex analytical findings as clear, actionable insight.
• Experience with mission-data analysis, division-level performance metrics, data visualization, including dashboards and reporting, and data engineering.
• Experience using applicable Microsoft 365 capabilities.
• Experience with GIS software such as ESRI, visualization software such as Tableau, and commercially available AI applications.
• UI, UX, graphic-design, and communication expertise supporting communication of findings.

This requirement is Unclassified. Applicants selected will be subject to the applicable DHS/CISA personnel-security process and must satisfy the background-investigation, Entry on Duty, fitness, and access requirements applicable to the position and to sensitive Government information.
