Full availability preferred.Line Cooks are responsible for the food guests rave about! You will prep for and prepare delicious dishes in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a safe and clean environment.Candidates must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train someone with a great attitude and willingness to work hard.Line Cooks Responsibilities:Recipe AdherenceSet up and stocking stations with all necessary suppliesPrepare food for service in a timely mannerCook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffAnswer, report and follow Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager's instructionsMaintain a clean work environmentStock inventory appropriatelyEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, of high quality and in a timely fashionComply with sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersArrive on time and in clean, pressed uniform with a positive attitude ready to workAt Village Tavern, we're more than a restaurant—we're a community.
