Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary assignment running from June through September. This role will support general bookkeeping and accounts payable functions while assisting team members as needed.

MUST HAVE AVID EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE

Schedule

• Temporary position: June - September
• 20-24 hours per week
• Set schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
• Shift options: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay

• $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Process weekly accounts payable, including obtaining approvals, entering branch billing, processing invoices, and mailing checks
• Respond to phone calls and emails regarding invoice questions and general support
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with additional bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of accounts payable experience; banking experience preferred
• Experience with AVID Exchange accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
