Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and needs, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique situations.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals, continuously adapting strategies based on ongoing assessments and client progress.

• Provide evidence-based therapy, including individual, group, and family sessions, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress in therapy sessions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure effectiveness.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• Two years of post-licensure experience is preferred; candidates with experience specifically in treating mood disorders will be highly regarded.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, to effectively address mood disorders.
