Work Environment

In this role, you will work in a home care setting, which allows you to directly connect with patients in their familiar environments. This tailored approach promotes a sense of comfort and can lead to enhanced outcomes. The position entails a Monday to Friday schedule, accommodating a full-time commitment of 40 hours each week. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment programs that align with each patient's unique rehabilitation goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
• Implement therapeutic interventions in patients' homes, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and adaptive strategies to improve mobility and function.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols, self-management strategies, and the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Foster excellent customer service and communicate effectively within our interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care delivery.
• Work towards achieving minimum utilization goals and participate in organizational initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role encompasses a diverse patient population that includes individuals with orthopedic injuries, pediatric patients, neurological conditions, and sports medicine rehabilitation needs. Your clinical expertise will be essential in tailoring your approach to each unique condition, facilitating smoother recoveries and helping patients reclaim their active lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic settings.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, along with computer literacy to document patient records accurately.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health care settings.
• Familiarity with using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and communication.
• Skills in building relationships that facilitate recovery and enhance patient engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
