Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Viera Physical Therapy, you will:

• Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific conditions.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress in a home setting, adapting techniques as necessary based on each patient's unique response.
• Deliver care that encompasses a range of specialties, including but not limited to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, fostering strong therapeutic relationships that enhance patient engagement and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals seeking rehabilitation in their home environment, offering a personal touch that can significantly enhance their healing process. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in physical therapy, preferably in a home care setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, caregivers, and team members.
• Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to document patient progress accurately.
• A compassionate approach to establish meaningful relationships with patients, enhancing their engagement in care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with experience in home health care or outpatient orthopedic settings will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits
