Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our patients' homes in the Orlando area, providing a personalized touch to rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that encompass a variety of techniques and modalities.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, enhancing patient experiences and fostering trust within the community.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize care and improve patient outcomes through evidence-based interventions.
• Administer skilled therapeutic services directly within patients' homes, adapting techniques to accommodate each patient's unique situation.
• Consult and educate patients and their caregivers on effective methods for rehabilitation and lifestyle modification.
• Achieve performance metrics and utilize feedback to continuously improve the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will offer you the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, children requiring pediatric care, those with neurological impairments, and athletes needing rehabilitation from sports-related injuries. This variety allows you to apply your skills across multiple specialties, enhancing your professional experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to establish rapport with patients and their families.
• Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and communication purposes.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with each patient, striving to help them exceed their functional rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Two years of prior experience in physical therapy, with a demonstrated ability to provide high-quality care.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits
