Saint Vincent Orthopedic and Sports is seeking a dedicated Senior Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Orlando, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement customized physical therapy treatment plans focused on preventing disabilities, relieving pain, improving mobility, and restoring functional abilities.
• Oversee and train Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring accurate execution of care plans and compliance with treatment protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities through diagnostic assessments, including tests for muscle, joint, and functional abilities.
• Assess patients' home environments and recommend adaptive strategies and equipment to support their independence in daily activities.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions as prescribed by physicians including manual therapy, exercise instruction, and the administration of modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, home exercise programs, and the proper use of assistive devices.
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences to collaboratively review, refine, and update treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions, making recommendations for changes to the treatment plan as needed.
• Assure timely submission of orders and documentation in adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay current with advancements in physical therapy methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals of all ages recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in contemporary physical therapy techniques, particularly manual therapy modalities, with a demonstrated ability to design effective exercise regimens.
• Strong familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of hands-on experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, especially in sports rehabilitation or post-operative recovery.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising and mentoring junior staff members and physical therapy assistants.

Compensation and Benefits
