Work Environment

As the Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will work primarily in a home care environment, visiting patients in their own residences across Sanford. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Conducting initial assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions, identifying movement dysfunction and barreing treatment options.
• Crafting personalized treatment plans that are based on thorough assessments and best practices tailored to each individual.
• Instructing patients on therapeutic exercises, ensuring they are performed correctly to facilitate recovery.
• Administering advanced treatment techniques, including stimulation, massage, or other modalities aimed at improving mobility and pain relief.
• Providing education on the appropriate use of mobility assistance equipment like wheelchairs or walkers to enhance independence.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on quantitative and qualitative data.
• Advising patients and their families on home therapies and exercises to support healing between sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, from children recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients rehabilitating after surgeries or managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
