Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment programs across a range of specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Provide direct patient care using a variety of therapeutic techniques, ensuring adherence to physicians' plans of care.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on exercises, anatomical understanding, and rehabilitation strategies to promote healing and functional independence.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to assess patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to maximize outcomes.
• Foster a commitment to excellent customer service, contributing to a positive and effective patient experience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Meet departmental utilization goals while encouraging ongoing patient engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will provide care to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, managing chronic conditions, or seeking rehabilitation for sports-related injuries. Your ability to connect with patients on a personal level will help motivate them during their recovery journey, giving them the support they need to achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a valid Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program preferred.
• A state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a similar setting.
• Current CPR certification is necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for successful patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic medical record (EMR) systems is beneficial.
• A compassionate approach and a desire to build strong relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Diverse experience in treating a variety of patient populations, including but not limited to orthopedic, pediatric, and neurologic clients.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or education initiatives related to physical therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt treatments based on evolving patient needs and preferences.

Compensation and Benefits
