Remote Tax Supervisor

We're looking for a seasoned Remote Tax Supervisor who's ready to go beyond the traditional. If you bring strong technical tax expertise, strategic insight, and a passion for innovation, this is your opportunity to help reshape how tax services are delivered in a modern, tech-forward environment.

Tax Supervisor Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary technical tax expert for the team
Review complex returns (1120S, 1065, 1040) for accuracy, compliance, and optimization
Lead and mentor a small team of tax preparers
Conduct tax research and create internal best practices
Collaborate with product and R&D teams on tax modeling and automation
Validate software accuracy and provide actionable feedback
Occasionally consult with high-profile or complex clients

Tax Supervisor Requirements:

7+ years of tax experience, focused on S-Corps, partnerships, and individuals.
C-Corps, estate and trust planning, or gifting – Not required, but a plus.
PE/VC experience – Not required, but a plus.
2+ years of team management experience.
CPA or licensed tax attorney required.
Bachelor's or Master's in accounting or taxation.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. direct tax law.
Strong communicator who thrives in a startup environment.
