Role Overview The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for handling multiple, often fast-track equipment rebuild/repair/modification projects in the field of environmental air pollution control for customers in diverse industries across North America and Asia. The PM performs project & process engineering, generates & maintains the schedule, forecasts & maintains all costs & scope changes. Manages all communication with the Customer. The PM develops mechanical scopes of work and requisitions mechanical equipment and subcontractors. Works closely with the Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, Manufacturing, Field Operations and Service departments to ensure successful project completion. Some travel is required, potentially overseas. Candidate Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree in appropriate subject (e.g. Engineering, Construction Management) Two years of experience as Project Manager of Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Position related experience in similar industry strongly preferred Ability to work independently and in a team environment Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of SAP is a plus Ability to understand and maintain project schedules Good organizational skills Good technical writing skills Able to effectively communicate with engineering and estimating departments, contractors, suppliers, and customers Able to work well independently and in a team environment Able to technically define problems and propose solutions Adaptable to change in a learning environment Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when necessary Basic knowledge of accounting principles. Invoicing according to Contract Terms. Basic knowledge of Controls Engineering is a plus. Electrical hardwire drawings Basic PLC control principles Basic knowledge of sheet metal & structural fabrication. Basic understanding of heavy equipment installation procedures.
