Our church... is a non-denominational multi-site church with four St. Louis-area campuses where we gather each weekend to study this ancient story found in Scripture that is still transforming lives today. We believe church should be a place where believers in Jesus and skeptics can stand side-by-side to study truth and ask tough questions. We blend teaching and worship with art and technology to create a service where you can experience the message of Jesus in practical and life-changing ways.

Production Lead is a 40 hour per week full-time position responsible for the oversight and implementations of all technical aspects of the Mid Rivers campus of The Crossing. This includes leading and developing volunteers, oversight and management of details for weekend services, classes, events, and overseeing and managing systems.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Oversight and Administration
  • Prepare for and participate in team meetings (production, Launch Team, staff lunch, special events, YouthCrossing Pre-Production, and others as assigned)
  • Collaborate with Mid Rivers and Systems Teams on the Production budget
  • Collaborate with Systems Team for maintenance and support related to the Mid Rivers campus
  • Lead and equip Production volunteers at the Mid Rivers campus
  • Collaborate with YouthCrossing to prepare, staff, and lead weekly worship experiences Including delegating, hiring, contracting assistance as needed
  • Connect and train new volunteers using the Crossing onboarding process
• Collaborate with Mid Rivers team for all details associated with the production of weekend services, classes, and special events at the Mid Rivers campus including:
  • Create engaging screen content using lyrics, images, and motion backgrounds
  • Create engaging lighting using stage design, automated and conventional lighting fixtures
  • Schedule volunteers and contractors as needed
  • Collaborate with Campus Production Team to produce weekend services as needed
  • Communicate details and vision with volunteers, peers, and staff
  • Ensure that all production deadlines are met
  • Participate in a Braintrust Team
  • Collaborate with campus Production Team to lead the Mid Rivers Creative Team Meeting
• Provide Level 1 technical support for the Mid Rivers Campus
  • Collaborate with Systems Team to manage Mid Rivers inventory
  • Provide Level 1 technical support for A/V/L equipment located in KidsCrossing rooms

Education/Training and Certificates

• Experience in large church production or live/tour production
• Extensive knowledge and experience on lighting control systems and consoles and fixtures (conventional, moving and LED)
• Ability to program creative lighting with understanding of lighting
• Extensive knowledge and experience on visual presentation including ProPresenter
• Rigging & safety standards (ETCP certified or ability to be certified)
