Part‑Time Faculty - Electronics Continuous Applicant Pool Salary: $75.00 hourly • Job Type: Part‑Time Faculty • Job Number: PTF‑ELEC • Location: 380 East Aten Road, Imperial, CA • Division: Economic & Workforce Development Representative Duties Under the direction of the appropriate Dean, this position is a part‑time temporary instructional faculty assignment. The role is best suited for a motivated candidate with a genuine interest in engaging with a diverse student body and a passion for fostering academic growth and knowledge. Commitment to diversity and inclusion is fundamental. Provide instruction in accordance with approved curriculum and course outlines based on college needs. Conduct classes, prepare courses, evaluate students, create syllabi, assess learning outcomes, and perform other related duties. Maintain and submit accurate records (grades, syllabi, attendance reports) by published deadlines. Maintain professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the position. Advise students on academic matters. Maintain competency in the field. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of direct work experience in electronics technology or equivalent. OR Associate's degree and at least six (6) years of direct work experience in electronics technology or equivalent. Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students (AB 1725, 87360a). An applicant may qualify by submitting college transcripts (must show degree awarded with completion date) and a complete description of work experience.
