We offer two bachelor’s degree programs, Child Development and Family Relationships and Liberal Studies Child Development Elementary Education as well as four distinct minors including: American Indian Education, Early Childhood Development, American Sign Language & Special Populations, and Family Studies. See full listing of course offerings here: Qualifications Education: B.A./B.S. is required. Coursework leading to M.A. or Ph.D. in Child Development or related field is preferred. Experience: Successful academic or professional experience within the last five years in Child Development or related field. For ECE courses: Education: B.A./B.S. is required. M.A. or Ph.D. is preferred. Experience: ECE or EE classroom teaching or curriculum design experience within the last five years. Relevance of training, experience, or specialization to teaching specific courses. Evidence of teaching effectiveness is preferred. The salary schedule information for the Lecturer – Academic Year Classification is available based on the following ranges: Appointees are typically placed at the beginning of the range. The full‑time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated in the schedules above are prorated to the number of units worked and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
