Lecturer Pool for Department of Social Work (AY 26-27) Apply now Job no: 557587 Work type: Instructional Faculty - Temporary/Lecturer Location: East Bay Categories: Unit 3 - CFA - California Faculty Association, Faculty - Social Sciences, Temporary, Part Time One or more temporary, part‑time lecturers are needed for a pool from which instructors will be considered for appointments as they become available for Fall Semester 2026 and/or Spring Semester 2027. Responsibilities Teach courses in social work curriculum sequences such as generalist and advanced practice, policy, research, field practicum, human behavior & the social environment, or race, gender, and inequality. Assignments may include courses at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, or online. Perform all duties within the state of California. Qualifications For practice courses: MSW and a minimum of two years of post‑MSW practice experience. For research courses: PhD in Social Welfare or a related field (ABD considered). University teaching experience preferred.
