DENTAL FRONT DESK ASSISTANT

Professional dental practice seeking a detail-oriented Front Desk Assistant to manage patient scheduling, insurance verification (including FEDVIP), and daily office operations. Ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, previous dental/medical office experience preferred, and thrives in a patient-focused environment serving federal employees and embassy staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and manage check-in/scheduling
• Answer phones and handle patient communications
• Verify insurance and process claims
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records
• Coordinate appointments and recall system

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Dentrix software required
• High school diploma
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Proficiency with computers and data entry
• Professional phone manner
