DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!

Job Title: Senior Blow Molding Technician
Compensation Range: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour
Location: Rochester, NY

Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm + every other weekend 
• 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:30pm – 7:00am + every other weekend

A Day in the Life:

• Set up and start up various molding machines per production schedules
• Install, align, and remove molds
• Adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) for optimal performance
• Perform first-piece inspections and troubleshoot molding/process issues
• Monitor machine performance and perform necessary adjustments
• Conduct routine maintenance on molds and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate closely with quality, maintenance, and production teams

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical training preferred

Experience:

• Experience with extrusion blow molding preferred
• Previous experience running molding machines highly desired
• Injection blow molding experience also considered
• Proficient with molding machines and tooling
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of plastics materials and processing techniques

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekendsSelf-motivated and able to work independently or within a team
• Strong commitment to safety standards
• Experience mentoring/training others preferred

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs
