In the role of Communications Coordinator , we'll count on you to: Coordinate logistics for public meetings, open houses, and other community engagement events. Organize and assist with meeting logistics and vendor management. Develop and manage detailed project schedules to keep tasks on track and deadlines met. Maintain organized notes, assign tasks with clear deadlines, track progress, and follow up to ensure accountability. Implement engagement strategies and communications plans for projects, making sure there's alignment with project goals and community needs. Draft and edit copy for newsletters, websites, presentations, advertisements, mailings, and other communications materials. Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams-including creative staff, other coordinators, and technical colleagues-to achieve project objectives. Assist with information gathering, note-taking, and supporting project managers during meetings. Partner with HDR clients to develop, refine, and carry out stakeholder and public outreach strategies. Travel to project locations (including overnight stays) to support on-site engagement efforts. Lead the identification of stakeholders and manage the development of distribution list for inclusion in project database. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with the architecture and engineering consulting industry Preference given to local candidates #LI-EV1 Required Qualifications A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Service- and client-oriented personality with the ability to handle multiple assignments at a time and meet set deadlines Self-starter who can work well independently or in a team environment Experience using social networking/social media programs Attention to detail An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company. The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
