Healthcare Project Manager's Main Objective:

DelRicht Research is seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Manager to guide our team responsible for preparing new clinical trials for successful activation and execution across our growing site network.

This role combines clinical expertise, project management, quality oversight, and people leadership. The Clinical Research Team Lead will help ensure that study resources, internal project plans, and site handoffs are completed accurately and on time. You will work closely with internal site operations, sponsors, Clinical Research Organizations, and DelRicht's centralized departments to identify barriers early, communicate realistic timelines, and position our sites for rapid activation and successful patient enrollment.

The Clinical Research Team Lead is responsible for driving rapid, predictable study activation through strong project management, technical excellence in CRIO, rigorous quality oversight, and proactive collaboration with site operations and centralized departments.

What You'll DoLead Study Projects During the Initial Launch of the Trial

• Manage study start-up activities within the team's control, with the goal of positioning DelRicht to achieve first site activated and first site to screen whenever possible.
• Establish, maintain, and communicate accurate activation timelines.
• Maintain detailed project plans reflecting site, study team, and centralized department responsibilities.
• Identify study-specific barriers, dependencies, and trial-limiting factors early.
• Monitor study activation, first patient screening, first patient visits, and first randomization milestones.

Lead and Develop the Team

• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and support to assigned coordinators.
• Conduct and document consistent one-on-one meetings.
• Set clear quarterly performance and development goals aligned with department and company priorities.
• Recognize high performers and create opportunities for continued growth.
• Address performance concerns directly, fairly, and promptly.
• Support formal performance reviews and improvement plans when needed.
• Assess team capacity and communicate resource or bandwidth concerns before performance is affected.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Ensure training materials and competency packets are completed accurately and on time.
• Identify opportunities to improve or expand the department's processes and capabilities.

Partner With Sponsors and Clients

• Represent DelRicht professionally in written, verbal, and virtual client interactions.
• Confirm expectations, activation timelines, milestones, and required next steps with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Help facilitate site introductions and early connections between site teams and Clinical Research Associates.
• Provide responsive, service-oriented communication throughout the startup process.
• Escalate concerns internally before they become external issues whenever possible.
• Communicate significant client requests or escalations to the appropriate team members within one business day.
• Ask thoughtful questions and clarify unknowns before making assumptions or moving forward.

Maintain Quality and Compliance

• Ensure all startup resources align with the protocol and client-provided materials.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready study documentation.
• Directly review resources before scheduled handoffs and build sufficient review time into project plans.
• Balance urgency with accuracy, compliance, and participant safety.
• Track errors and trends, provide retraining, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Hold team members accountable for following established processes consistently.

Collaborate Across DelRicht

• Build strong working relationships across al teams at DelRicht.
• Communicate known or suspected protocol concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Identify site, study, and process trends and communicate them proactively.
• Include site teams in decisions that affect their workflows and study execution.
• Provide accurate, timely information that enables other teams to plan effectively.
• Create a positive, solutions-oriented experience in every interaction.

• Ensure startup materials are finalized before handoff without delaying first patient visits.

• Earn positive feedback from site teams, centralized departments, sponsors, and CROs.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• At least three years of experience, preferably in a healthcare project management position. 
• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, life sciences, business, or related field.
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation, healthcare operations.
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience coaching, training, or providing day-to-day leadership to other team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to identify risks, solve problems independently, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to getting work right the first time.
• Ability to remain organized and composed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
