Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapy license for Alabama
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in schools, or a strong interest in pediatric/school-based practice
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans for students
- Strong communication skills to partner with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving learning environment
- NSY (Next School Year) availability is helpful
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and strengths, and design occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual educational plans
- Deliver therapy services—both direct and consultative—in accordance with IEP/504 goals
- Track and document progress, adjust plans as necessary, and participate in meetings with faculty and parents
- Serve as a reliable resource for teachers and staff regarding strategies to help students achieve classroom goals
- Provide training and recommendations for accommodations, classroom modifications, and assistive technology
- Maintain accurate charts, reports, and records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
