Job Description:TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening in its Wellford, SC location for a Inventory Specialist II that will support a large-scale distribution center. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package - tuition assistance, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, vacation, and holiday.JOB SUMMARYThe Inventory Specialist II is responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and performing warehouse audits to ensure accurate inventory tracking. Specialist II is responsible for managing slotting, bin resolutions, and troubleshooting order issues. This role supports warehouse operations through material handling, damage processing and quality control.The successful candidate must be a self-starter, well organized, able to work both independently and as a team member, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be proficient in MS Office applications. Experience with SAP WM a plus.RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies, including:ABC CountsShort List CountsAssigned CountsPull pallets for special projectsPerform additional tasks as needed to support operationsConduct warehouse audits in multiple areas, including:Inbound receiving, Picking operations, E-commerce and bulk processingOutbound shippingPerform additional tasks as needed to support operationsSlotting:Slotting & Un-Slotting materialsManage slotting for new and existing materialsManage and evaluate replenishment levelsBin Resolution – Anderson LocationInvestigate and resolve stuck or blocked binsSupport rework operations and ensure materials are properly storedProcess and monitor damaged goodsAssist with resolving stray pallets and inventory that needs to be returned to stock.Complete quality pullsPerform additional tasks as needed to support operations.Bin Resolution – Wellford LocationWill require that individual wear the appropriate PPE and work in small, dark spaces and not be afraid of heightsInvestigate and resolve non-moving robot’s within systemWill be certified to enter the systemPartner with maintenance team to recover robots weighing 800 lbs.Document instances of issues with robots, racking (determining what needs to be escalated to other support resources -tech or building facilities)Ability to access robots for system rebooting if necessaryRecovering any stray or damaged material, rebuild pallets if they bust within the automationPerform system transactions to move inventory into the correct locations and physically remove the pallet from the automationClean and Replace QR Codes within the systemPrint and re-apply as necessary QR CodesCompleting housekeeping duties within the ASRA (Automated Storage and Retrieval System)Managing inventory in WMS and WCS environmentsOpening tickets with vendors -> keeping up with and closing ticketsE-Commerce Hospital:Investigate and resolve return goods issues from vendors/customersTroubleshoot order processing issuesPerform cycle counts as needed to ensure smooth inventory flowSlot materials and high velocity itemsAdditional Responsibilities:Support rework operations and ensure materials are properly storedProcess and monitor damaged goodsAssist with handling stray pallets or inventory that needs to be returned to stockComplete quality pullsPerform all duties of Inventory Specialist IAbility to be certified on Industrial Power Equipment (Reach Truck, Forklift, Order Picker)Shared resource between multi-sitesEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICIATIONS:High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalencyBasic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operationsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with slotting and inventory adjustmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to troubleshoot order processing issuesProficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)Self-motivated with strong work ethic.Must operate heavy machinery – certification is required.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail, math, and multi-tasking skills.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Prolonged periods of working on a computer and/or RF deviceExtended or long periods of standing and walkingRepetitive MotionRegularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouchRegularly be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., team lift over 50 lbs.Regularly required to reach, pull, and push up to 50 lbs., team lift over 50 lbs.Must be able to operate power equipment (reach truck, order picker, pacer/standup forklift)Ability to work in various temperaturesThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this position.
