Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have experience processing high volumes of invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and working with Sage Intacct accounting software. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation.
• Prepare and process weekly accounts payable check runs and electronic payments.
• Maintain vendor records, including 1099 forms and payment information.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulations.
• Generate accounts payable reports and assist with audits as needed.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of accounts payable experience .
• Experience using Sage Intacct is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
