Requirements With a target start date of 12/01 we are requiring a Washington license to be in hand at time of present. Expected start date First day should always be reserved for orientation tasks 12/01/2026 – Washington license is required to meet this target start date Provider Type – MD/DO or APC APP Specialty General Surgery - Primary responsibility is rounding and assist with the trauma surgeons. Secondary responsibilities with be in the GS clinic for post op trauma care. Daily Shift Standard 8hr or 12hr 9-hour shifts 8 hours with 1 hour lunch Expected duration of assignment 6-month approval Reason for opening Gap in coverage Schedule /Shift hours Variable 9-hour shifts 0700-1600 and alternating weekends For the right candidate the department is open to a combination of 4x10 hour shifts. Type of privileges: clinic hospital Setting: Inpatient Outpatient If Inpatient # of beds: 122 Call requirement No Rounding admissions or none? Both Patient demographics 18 Average patients per day 10-15 Required Procedures Post op care - surgical first assist desired but not mandatory. Those with a hospitalist background excel in this work Required clinical activity in the last 24 months case logs Applicant must provide documentation case list of provision of clinical services representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months. Case list must include diagnosis or procedure and date and facility where performed. Will provider work solo? If not other providers specialties working with them No. It varies one trauma surgeon guaranteed. May also be working with a complement of 3 surgeons and a PA in the clinic. Licensed Candidate: Yes - With a target start date of 12/01 we are requiring a Washington license to be in hand at time of present. Required certifications Must be from AHA or American Red Cross as applicable BLS and ACLS EMR EPIC Additional comments: Surgical Assist not a requirement - hospitalist experience strongly desired Shift Info: Day 5x9-Hour 07:00 - 16:00
